Since 1853
Our history started when, in the middle of the 19th century, the businessman Rafailas Volfas founded a brewery.
In 1894, I. B. Volfas and A. Soloveicikas bought the brewery belonging to Ferdinand Engelman. The new owners kept the original name of the brewery.
The brewery became famous for “Pilzen” beer, “Lithuanian Porter”, the strong porter “Imperial” and the English beer “Double”, among other beverages.
“I. B. Volfas-Engelman” – an enterprise that became the largest producer of beer and occupies up to 40 percent of the beer market in contemporary Lithuania.
Volfas Engelman exports to 32 countries in the world including The Republic of Korea, Japan, Taiwan , Mexico and other countries .
