Ron Macorix was born in 1899 into the Carrión family in the city of San Pedro de Macorís, a place considered by many to be a land of poets, artists and sugar cane.
Description
Mamajuana is a liqueur originating in the Dominican Republic. It is prepared by macerating rum, red wine and honey in a bottle with tree bark and herbs. The flavour is similar to port wine, and the colour is a very deep red.
